About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at EVI Audio GmbH, a subsidiary of Bosch Building Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance audio electronics for 19-inch amplifiers and amplifier modules for active speakers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop audio performance electronics for 19-inch amplifiers and amplifier modules
  • Develop and improve our proprietary Class-D amplifier technology
  • Design and develop power supply modules for professional audio amplifiers
  • Design and develop small-signal electronics for controlling and monitoring audio performance electronics
  • Perform circuit simulation and optimization using PSpice or similar tools
  • Collaborate with the PCB design team to create layouts for printed circuit boards
  • Test and optimize prototypes
  • Create documentation, measurement data, and test tools for series production
  • Ensure compliance with safety and functional safety regulations for audio amplifiers
  • You will be responsible for your projects from the initial product idea to the first prototypes, through industrialization to field observation during series production.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications, or equivalent
  • Experience in audio technology and professional sound reinforcement
  • Proficiency in design and simulation software, as well as measurement equipment
  • Basic knowledge of hardware-oriented programming for microcontrollers
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Creativity, self-motivation, and a structured approach to work
  • Team and communication skills, initiative, and motivation
