Pricing Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at Abbott Medical GmbH. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in conducting pricing analysis and contract management for Region Central, with a focus on Germany and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).
Key Responsibilities- Implement customer pricing strategy and guidelines through ongoing exchange with customers and commercial teams.
- Support GPO teams with strong financial analysis to enable informed decision-making.
- Support commercial teams within defined approval processes on various topics.
- Act as a business partner to the GPO organization and the entire Commercial organization.
- Implement and monitor pricing KPIs and derive measures against price erosion.
- Analyze price trends and ensure regular reviews of contracts and price lists.
- Closely interact with FP&A teams and contribute to Actuals analysis, Business Reviews, and ad-hoc inquiries.
- Support contract compliance processes in close collaboration with GPO and the Commercial organization, ensuring adherence to Abbott guidelines and policies.
- Support processes related to quote and contract creation in cooperation with the EP Quotation team.
- Contribute to the broader FP&A/Pricing team by proactively exchanging with fellow colleagues across divisional borders.
- University degree in a Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, finance, and/or consulting, combined with pricing topics as a plus, ideally in the healthcare sector.
- Experience in managing relationships with commercial teams.
- Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Analytical skills and proven problem-solving skills.
- Proven system skills, aptitude, and experience, especially with Excel; previous experience with financial forecasting & reporting systems and SAP a plus.
- Experience in processing and analyzing large data sets.
- Fluent in English and German.
- High degree of autonomy and flexibility in a dynamic and performance-oriented environment.
