Position Overview:

We are seeking a Channel Sales Manager for the EMEA region (m/f/d) to work remotely from Germany, the Netherlands, or the UK. A reliable internet connection and good travel accessibility are essential.

Department Responsibilities:

In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison for existing Desktop Metal representatives while expanding our network. You will oversee the distribution of Desktop Metal products and services through our representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key personnel at assigned partner organizations.
  • Coordinate the deployment of Desktop Metal resources, including support and management, to meet partner performance objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet established targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned partner accounts and regions.
  • Lead collaborative partner planning processes focused on performance metrics, financial goals, and critical milestones.
  • Continuously assess and validate partner needs.
  • Facilitate sales through partner organizations to end customers in alignment with partner sales resources.
  • Manage potential sales channel conflicts through effective communication and adherence to sales channel guidelines.
  • Oversee lead distribution activities among multiple partners in the designated region.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting data and ensure regular communication with management.
  • Ensure compliance with partner agreements and programs.
  • Represent Desktop Metal at significant industry events.
  • Recruit and onboard partners as necessary to responsibly expand the business.
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas for the region and individual partner accounts.
  • Maintain high levels of partner satisfaction.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in business administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a technology-driven B2B environment for capital goods.
  • Experience in the 3D printing or additive manufacturing sector is preferred.
  • Sales experience with universities or research institutions is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high adaptability.
  • Proficient in using various workplace technologies such as Slack and Zoom, and adept at navigating multiple computer platforms.
  • Strong team player with effective collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (approximately 75%).
