We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Junior Regulatory Controller within our Trustee & Depository team. This position is based in Germany.

In this capacity, you will contribute significantly in the following areas:

  • Implementing regulatory controls for transactions in Mutual Funds and Special Funds.
  • Overseeing regulatory compliance in Subscription and Redemption processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to Investment Compliance regulations.
  • Calculating and managing Trustee & Depository fees.
  • Handling various fund-related events.
  • Performing reconciliation tasks between Transfer Agents and Custodians.
  • Engaging in client communication and managing transactions.
  • Collaborating with other departments within BNY Mellon, both locally and internationally.
  • Analyzing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring risk areas to mitigate potential losses.
  • Participating in special projects as needed.

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Educational background in banking or business, preferably with a focus on Fund Management in Germany.
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A self-motivated individual who takes ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • A strong desire to learn about relevant products and business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • An open-minded approach to understanding Fund Business processes and their impact on clients and other departments.
  • A productivity-focused mindset with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Fluency in both German and English, in speaking and writing.
