Role Overview

Your Career Path

In this role, you will focus on managing relationships to drive measurable outcomes in revenue growth, market penetration, and engagement within each partner sales team associated with Deutsche Telekom. Your success will hinge on the development and implementation of tailored business strategies with DT. You will be evaluated primarily on the collaborative business executed with these strategic partners at a regional scale, engaging with various sales, presales, and executive teams.

Your objective will be to enhance alignment between the sales teams at Palo Alto Networks and Deutsche Telekom, while ensuring exceptional execution across account planning and pipeline management for all joint initiatives.

Your Contributions

  • Formulate and implement business strategies in partnership with Account Directors, overseeing all facets of the partner relationship to optimize growth opportunities and ensuring the partner is positioned to deliver successful customer implementations.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to guarantee partner and customer satisfaction.
  • Craft a compelling value proposition that motivates this strategic partner to advocate for our solutions.
  • Develop and activate services based on our innovative and established technologies to boost revenue growth, while closely collaborating with our product teams to create new solutions and go-to-market strategies that differentiate us in the marketplace.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication (internally and externally) across the region with partners to foster strong partnerships throughout your tenure.
  • Conduct regular performance and relationship reviews with senior management and various stakeholders.
  • Create and sustain performance reports and activity dashboards.

Qualifications

Your Background

  • Significant experience in Sales, Channel Management, or Business Development roles within the enterprise software ecosystem and/or network security sector.
  • Proven track record of building, managing, and expanding relationships within Deutsche Telekom.
  • Proficiency in both English and German languages.
  • Familiarity with the local DACH market, particularly the German market.
  • Insight into Service Provider operational frameworks.
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing, and solution development.
  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity with exceptional presentation, written, and overall communication skills.
  • Consistent history of navigating complex sales scenarios through negotiation and conflict resolution.

Channel development acts as an extension of the territory sales team, with the ultimate goal of training and empowering our channel partners in the use and sales of our products.
