Your Career Path
In this role, you will focus on managing relationships to drive significant outcomes in revenue growth, market penetration, and engagement within each partner sales organization at Palo Alto Networks. Your effectiveness will be measured by the collaborative business initiatives executed with our strategic partners at a regional scale, working closely with various sales, presales, and executive teams. You will engage with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, including Global and International Account Directors.
Your primary objective will be to enhance synergy between the sales teams at PAN and our partners, while ensuring excellence in account planning and managing the pipeline for all collaborative opportunities.
Your Contributions
- Craft and implement strategic business plans in partnership with Account Directors, overseeing all facets of the partner relationship to maximize growth potential and ensure the partner is positioned to deliver successful customer implementations.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment to guarantee partner and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a compelling value proposition that motivates this strategic partner to advocate for our solutions.
- Initiate and activate services based on both emerging and established technologies to drive revenue growth, while closely collaborating with our product teams to innovate new solutions and go-to-market strategies that differentiate us in the marketplace.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication across the region with partners to foster strong relationships throughout your tenure.
- Conduct regular reviews of business performance and partner relationships with senior management and various stakeholders.
- Maintain and oversee performance reports and activity dashboards.
Your Qualifications
- Extensive background in Sales, Channel Management, or Business Development within the enterprise software or network security sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in building, managing, and nurturing relationships within the context of Palo Alto Networks.
- Fluency in both English and German.
- In-depth understanding of the DACH market, particularly the German landscape.
- Familiarity with Service Provider operational frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of sales, marketing, and solution development processes.
- Proven ability to take initiative and think creatively, complemented by excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills.
- Consistent history of navigating complex sales scenarios through negotiation and conflict resolution.
