Position Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, you will focus on cultivating relationships to drive measurable outcomes in revenue growth, market presence, and engagement within partner sales teams at Palo Alto Networks. Your effectiveness in this role will be reflected in the development and implementation of tailored business strategies with our partners. Your performance will be assessed primarily on the collaborative business initiatives executed with these key partners at a regional scale, working closely with various sales, presales, and executive teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement strategic business plans in partnership with Account Directors, overseeing all facets of the partner relationship to optimize growth prospects and ensure the partner is equipped to deliver successful customer solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to guarantee partner and customer satisfaction.
  • Create a compelling value proposition that motivates strategic partners to advocate for our offerings.
  • Develop and activate services leveraging our cutting-edge and established technologies to enhance revenue growth, while closely coordinating with our product teams to innovate new solutions and go-to-market strategies that differentiate us in the competitive landscape.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across the region with partners to foster robust partnerships throughout your tenure.
  • Conduct regular reviews of business performance and partner relationships with senior management and various stakeholders.
  • Maintain and manage performance reports and activity dashboards to track progress and results.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in Sales, Channel Management, or Business Development roles within the enterprise software or network security sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, and expanding relationships within the partner ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in both English and German languages.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the DACH market, particularly the German landscape.
  • Familiarity with Service Provider operational frameworks.
  • Knowledge of sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and solution development processes.
  • Exhibit strong initiative and creativity, complemented by excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of navigating complex sales scenarios through effective negotiation and conflict resolution.
