Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated professional to take on the role of an Agricultural Product Manager, focusing on the seed sector. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that are crucial for the success of our breeding projects and product management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Conducting thorough market research, analyzing the seed industry, and developing competitive assessments.
- Project Management: Overseeing and coordinating national breeding initiatives for cereals and legumes, including the acquisition of new breeding farms and managing price negotiations for multiplied seeds.
- Product Innovation: Evaluating and analyzing new breeding materials to enhance our product portfolio while supervising and monitoring field trials.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitating communication and negotiations with breeding companies, serving as the primary contact for variety information and product placements.
- Sales Support: Assisting the sales team in the successful launch of new varieties and promoting existing products.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: A degree in agricultural sciences or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Previous experience in the seed industry and expertise in plant or agricultural sciences is preferred.
