Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee various aspects of product management within the agricultural sector, specifically focusing on seed development and market strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research on the seed market, including competitive assessments and technical evaluations.
  • Project Management: Plan, oversee, and coordinate national breeding initiatives for cereals and legumes, including the acquisition of new breeding farms. Engage in price negotiations and manage the procurement of multiplied seeds while enhancing product management processes.
  • Product Innovation: Analyze and monitor new breeding materials for effective portfolio development, as well as supervise and evaluate field trials.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication and negotiations with breeding companies, serving as a primary contact for variety information, product placements, and breeding regions.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team in the successful launch of new varieties and promote the sale of existing products.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: A degree in agricultural sciences or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the seed industry and a strong background in plant or agricultural sciences is preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: A genuine passion for agriculture and sales, coupled with high self-motivation, flexibility, and a willingness to travel.
