About Global Portable Security (GPS)Global Portable Security (GPS) is a division of Allegion that focuses on providing innovative security solutions for the bicycle industry. The division combines the strengths of three renowned bicycle security brands: AXA, Trelock, and Kryptonite.
The PositionThe Product Manager AM EMEA Lights is responsible for driving the success of the AM Product Portfolios and Roadmap with a focus on EMEA markets for the brands Axa, Trelock, and Kryptonite. The successful candidate will lead multi-locational and cross-functional teams to launch new products using a structured development process (PDP).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the AM Product Portfolios and Roadmap for EMEA markets, including segmentation by type of bike, sales channel, and consumer/buyer.
- Analyze sales, profitability, and life cycles of existing products, conduct market research, and identify trends in the market.
- Make proposals for adjustment, replacement, or deletion of existing products, as well as their financial rehabilitation if needed, in collaboration with the Global Portfolio Manager Lights.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Global Portfolio Manager, and Sales Managers/Customers to capture product/project requirements, scope, and success metrics.
- Take overall project leadership for NPD projects, including responsibility for the PDP process, and lead/manages a cross-functional team to establish project development strategy, schedule, product costs, budget, and resource needs.
- Continuously track project activities, risks, and issues to ensure programs progress on schedule and within budget while meeting established customer requirements.
- Work with other product/project managers on interdependencies with other simultaneous projects.
- Be responsible for AOP growth for all AM Light Portfolios EMEA Lights.
- Contribute to improve internal product/project process.
- Provide technical and commercial support to sales staff for existing lighting products within GPS.
- Support Brand Management for Marketing activities.
- Validate and supervise AM requests for modifications and variations of existing products Light.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
