We are in search of a proficient and driven Global Compensation and Benefits Specialist to manage compensation and benefits operations across a cluster of EMEA nations. This role is vital in ensuring the efficacy and efficiency of our compensation and benefits initiatives while providing support to HR shared services and GBS teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compensation and Benefits Management: Oversee the daily administration of compensation and benefits schemes for the EMEA region.
  • Ensure effective communication and administration of all insurance plans and benefits programs.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers to address issues and enhance service delivery.
  • Supervise the payment process to guarantee timely and accurate payments to all vendors.
  • Vendor Relations: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with insurance vendors and other benefits providers. Address and resolve vendor-related issues to ensure high-quality service. Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Employee and Business Engagement: Interact with business leaders and employees to understand and address their compensation and benefits needs, providing education and communication regarding benefits programs and policies. Offer guidance and support to HR shared services and GBS teams on intricate compensation and benefits matters.
  • Program Assessment and Enhancement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefits programs, recommending improvements or modifications to meet the evolving needs of the business and employees. Conduct market research and benchmarking to remain informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Issue Management and Resolution: Act as the escalation point for complex compensation and benefits issues that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 and Tier 2 support. Collaborate with the Total Rewards Management team to address broader concerns and devise strategic solutions.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all compensation and benefits programs adhere to local regulations and company policies. Prepare and present reports on compensation and benefits activities, issues, and trends to senior management. Participate in audits and maintain accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS) is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, particularly within the EMEA region.
  • In-depth knowledge of EMEA compensation and benefits practices, regulations, and trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management and negotiation.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
