Billing and Order Accounting Expert

Jobactive GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Billing and Order Accounting Expert to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely creation and issuance of customer invoices according to contractual billing conditions.

  • **Key Responsibilities:**
  • Monitor ongoing orders in close collaboration with the order teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Manage contract management, monitor customer contracts, and their impact on customer invoicing and working capital.
  • Handle fee adjustments and bookings, make adjustments, write-offs, and transfers, and use advances and retainers according to the audit and approval processes of the order team.
  • Act as a liaison, proactively communicate with management and order teams regarding questions and concerns on receivables and ongoing orders to ensure correct and timely invoicing and cash collection.
  • Contribute to increasing efficiency and effectiveness of the entire value chain process from order to payment by proactive communication with colleagues, including customer engagement, contract review, invoicing, and revenue realization.
  • Participate in improvement processes in the Working Capital Management sector and introduce optimized tools and methods.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or training in business administration.
  • Experience in accounting/finance preferred, ideally in a consulting firm or professional services company.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and German, with the ability to present to stakeholders of various levels.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn new systems and tools.
