Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and performance-driven Medical Billing Specialist to join our expanding team in Munich, Germany. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate billing of medical claims for our customers in the DACH region.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our customer service team to process incoming prescriptions and orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing of all incoming orders with health insurance companies.
- Work closely with external service providers, such as billing agencies.
- Review and verify required documents, including prescriptions, cost estimates, and training records.
- Verify health insurance company decisions and perform re-submissions as necessary.
- Provide regular status updates on billing and claims processing to the International Accounting team.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training with initial experience in the financial and/or medical sector (health insurance company, clinic, medical supply company, etc.).
- Good understanding of the German healthcare system, medical device prescriptions, and related billing procedures.
- Experience in customer service and a friendly, competent demeanor.
- Aware and respectful handling of customer data.
- Good knowledge of Office 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Love for detail.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning and/or SAP is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent German language skills and good to very good English language skills.
- Self-motivated, positive, and team-oriented.
