Accounts Receivable Specialist

Jobactive GmbH is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Billing Expert in Order Accounting. This role is essential for ensuring the financial accuracy and efficiency of our operations. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:- Invoice Management: Oversee the monitoring of active orders in collaboration with order teams, ensuring the prompt generation and distribution of customer invoices in accordance with contractual billing agreements.
- Contract Oversight: Manage customer contracts, including any modifications and extensions, and assess their implications on invoicing and working capital.
- Financial Adjustments: Handle fee modifications, adjustments, write-offs, and transfers, ensuring compliance with audit and approval protocols established by the order team.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as a point of contact, proactively engaging with management and order teams to address inquiries related to receivables and ongoing orders, facilitating accurate and timely invoicing and cash collection.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire order-to-payment value chain through proactive collaboration with colleagues, including customer interactions, contract evaluations, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- Working Capital Management: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving processes within the Working Capital Management sector, introducing optimized tools and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business administration.
- Preferred experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German, with the capability to present effectively to various stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
