Billing Operations Associate

Position Overview:

As a key member of our team, the Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing billing processes for the DACH region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with customer service to process incoming prescriptions and orders efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing for all orders submitted to health insurance providers.
  • Engage with external billing agencies to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Review and verify all necessary documentation, including prescriptions and cost estimates.
  • Handle health insurance inquiries and manage resubmissions as needed.
  • Provide consistent updates on billing progress to the International Accounting Team.

Qualifications Required:

  • Completion of vocational training with relevant experience in financial or medical sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the German healthcare system and medical billing practices.
  • Proven customer service experience with a professional and approachable attitude.
  • Ability to handle sensitive customer information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning and/or SAP is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
  • Self-driven, positive attitude, and a collaborative team player.
