About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at DP World. As a Sales Manager for Freight Forwarding, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients to achieve sales targets and increase revenue
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase market share
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations and Marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and decisions
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the logistics and transportation industry
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, including transportation modes, logistics services, and supply chain management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Fluency in English and German, with additional languages an asset
