Our client is a global leader in international logistics, providing comprehensive solutions across express shipping, land transport, air freight, sea freight, and contract logistics/supply chain management.

Your Role as a Freight Sales Representative

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by proactively selling air and sea freight services. You will build strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and support to meet their evolving needs.

  • Sales & Customer Management: Proactively sell air and sea freight services, acquire new customers, and manage a portfolio of existing accounts. Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends within the freight industry. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to capitalize on these insights.
  • Relationship Building: Represent the company externally, building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the logistics sector. Network effectively to expand your client base and enhance brand visibility.
  • Performance & Reporting: Achieve ambitious revenue targets and consistently exceed performance expectations. Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer insights.

Your Profile:

  • Completed training in freight forwarding or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sea and/or air freight with a strong understanding of the industry landscape.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
