Profitable international growth, breaking record after record, is a key goal for SIXT. To grow profitably, we need to understand and steer the commercial side of our business. This is in particular true for our indirect business, ie. where Sixt interacts with end-customers through intermediaries or with employees of B2B customers. For this indirect business, we need transparency and guidance on what are our partners’ objectives, how does their revenue trend, and how profitable are these partnerships for SIXT?
**What you will do**:
- You are responsible for overseeing the profitability of Sixt’s relationships by supporting the negotiation processes with our B2B customers and partners & intermediaries to ensure and increase profitability
- You are monitoring profitability and revenue development in our existing partnerships or customer relationships, preparing suggestions on possible improvements and challenging the status quo.
- You track channel costs by defining and updating allocation logics and process this information to enable multi-channel steering.
- You manage projects related to Commercial Controlling like defining BI/Tech requirements, validating dashboards or calculations, and driving initiatives to improve profitability of certain products or channels
- You lead, coach and develop a team of 4 Controllers. You organize regular knowledge sharing meetings and take care of the professional development of your team
- You work closely with business teams, group controlling, central BI, and data science
**About you**:
- You have first experience as a manager, successfully leading a team by inspiring, motivating, and guiding your team members to exceed their targets
- You have a strong analytical mindset, know to write SQL queries, enjoy conceptual tasks, and are able to identify the drivers of our business model and comprehensively understand and solve business inquiries
- You also have a strong bias for action, questioning everything and making improvements every day and you have shown flexibility, resilience, and above-average willingness to work in your career
- You are experienced in the management of multiple interfaces with other teams and in project management, understand how to work out compromises, and are assertive
- You have a service mentality, you are highly reliable and entrepreneurial in your thinking, and you are fluent in English and advanced in German (B.2 or above)
