We’re looking for a
**Commercial Director (f/m/d)**
for IWC - Northern Europe.
**Your tasks**:
1/ Achieve and/or exceed Sales Plans and lead business development initiatives
- Responsible for all sales activities - wholesale, retail and other omni-channel activities in the Northern Europe region (DE, AT, Eastern Europe)
- Responsibility for results and budget
- Collaborate with all Corporate Departments (i.e. visual merchandising, merchandising, marketing, etc.) and communicate to Managing Director to leverage business analysis and opportunities
- Develop a strong knowledge of the boutique business and assess local market opportunities to implement a proactive and effective sales strategy in close cooperation with Head of Retail.
- Partner with the Head of Client & Experience to implement CRM strategies to improve new client acquisition and loyal client retention
- Actively promote networking activities including client events
2/ Manage and develop teams
- Management responsibility for the entire sales team (BTQ, office and field sales)
- Responsible for creating a positive and united work environment among all staff regardless of the business units
- Communicate strategic brand focuses to boutique management teams & area sales managers
- Actively recruit and maintain talent pipeline in close cooperation with Head of Retail
- Partner with the Managing Director and exco teams in order to elaborate and implement the coaching and training strategy for the sales team
3/ Develop relationships with watch dealers & end-clients
- Ensuring the development and maintenance of sustainable customer relationships, in particular with key accounts
- Develop tactical and long-term initiatives to develop sell-out, loyalty and brand equity in partners network.
- Monitoring the competition and deriving relevant measures in cooperation with marketing / product management
- Model luxury experience behavior, maintain a regular presence on the commercial events.
- Personal involvement for VIC / VIP sales monitoring
4/ Strategic network development planning
- Strategic planning and derivation of sales-relevant activities in close coordination with the head office in Schaffhausen
- Supporting the local Managing Director in various sales topics, in particular the annual business plan and annual meetings with key accounts
- Development of the boutique & partners network in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe
**Your profile**:
- Completed business studies combined with several years of professional experience in the sales area of a branded goods company or in the luxury industry paired with several years of management experience
- Strong negotiating skills and high customer orientation
- Strong understanding of numbers and outstanding analytical skills
- Results-, service-oriented and proactive way of working
- High flexibility and willingness to change
- Fluent in German, English - French is a plus.
- Confident PC skills (MS Office, SAP)
- High willingness to travel
