Medical Science Liaison – Nephrology

IQVIA is currently recruiting for an experiencedMedical Science Liaison (MSL) in Germany. The role will cover theterritory of Bavaria (Southeast Germany) up to Berlin, followingthe recent launch of a highly anticipated monoclonal antibodyproduct in the Nephrology/Rare Diseases therapyarea.

Our client is a global biopharmaceuticalcompany dedicated to bringing biosimilar medicines to market,ensuring high-quality biologics are available to more patients atcost-effective prices. Since their launch in 2012, they havedeveloped the industry’s most rapidly advancing biosimilarmedicines portfolio and become leaders in thisfield.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. Engagewith national, regional, and local customers (scientificdiscussions, presentations, data exchange, and education) includingclinicians, clinical investigators, and other externalstakeholders.
  2. Provide medical information andresponses to complex medical questions fromclinicians.
  3. Offer internal scientific support,training, and serve as an expert resource forcolleagues.
  4. Coordinate scientific educationactivities and participate in events such as Advisory Boards andcongresses.
  5. Support investigators, e.g.,investigator-sponsored studies.
  6. Interact withscientific societies and patient groups asappropriate.
  7. Collect and report relevantinformation to the company, such as competitor information,treatment patterns, product prescribing decision criteria, supplysituation, etc.

Skills &ExperienceRequired:

  1. Scientific degree(PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc, etc.).
  2. Pharmaceuticalindustry experience as an MSL inGermany.
  3. Previous expertise in Haematology,Nephrology, or Rare Diseases therapy areas; biosimilars experiencestrongly preferred.
  4. Ability to link appropriatescientific support to deliver value in a commercialorganization.
  5. Experience in understanding andinterpreting clinical trial and statistical analysis with theability to deliver clear and compellinginsights.
  6. Inspirational presenter, capable ofconveying scientific material to large audiences in an engagingmanner.
  7. Strong leadership qualities, able toinfluence internal and externalstakeholders.
  8. Strong collaborator who can buildnetworks across a complex business, with excellent teamwork skillsand a resilient attitude.
  9. Eligibility to workfull-time in Germany (please note sponsorship will not beavailable).
  10. Fluent German and confident Englishlanguage skills.
  11. Full driving license, withwillingness to travel throughout the territory, which includesBavaria (South East Germany) up to Berlin.
