**Senior Medical Science Liaison - Rare Disease (M/F/d)**

Focus will be on
- Providing scientific and medical expertise for the product
- Communicating relevant medical-scientific content, considering the national strategy
- Controlling and successfully implementing medical-scientific activities in the assigned area for the assigned region, in alignment with national or regional strategy
- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, codes, and internal SOPs (GCP, HWG, AMG, etc.)
- Responsible for proper planning and adherence to allocated budget
- Building and maintaining strong, sustainable partnerships with relevant partners (doctors, pharmacists, etc.) and the KOL network
- Engaging in regional specialist societies to establish and maintain a medical-scientific partnership
- Scientifically representing the company at national congresses, symposia, investigator meetings, etc., and supporting field sales colleagues at relevant events in the respective region

Qualification requires
- Biomedical or scientific education, preferably at the postgraduate level (e.g., MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD)
- Medical or paramedical practice or research background (hospital, university, pharmaceutical industry, or medical affairs)
- Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and expertise in the therapeutic area of rare (liver) diseases
- Demonstrated success as an MSL or Medical Department Professional in a previous role
- Familiarity with data analysis and statistics for understanding clinical study results
- Up-to-date knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines relevant to industry interactions with healthcare professionals
- Very proficient communication skills in scientific German and English (both written and spoken)
