We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Digital Services & Operations Unit and drive our digital transformation with innovation and strategic thinking.
The successful candidate will lead one of the central teams focusing on the implementation of digital solutions to take our work processes to the next level. They will work closely with different areas of Welthungerhilfe and, based on their needs and requirements, develop customized solutions that really make a difference. Together with their team, they will make a significant contribution to making Welthungerhilfe future-orientated.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, with experience in handling complex projects and a deep understanding of digital transformation. They will be familiar with the classic SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, HR, BI) and the SAP authorization system, and have experience in the SAP S/4 HANA environment. They will also have a strong business acumen and be able to develop customized solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team of Application Managers of our core business applications (e.g. SAP, Salesforce)
- Take on the technical management of organization-wide digital transformation and migration projects
- Act as the first point of contact and IT and process consultant for the project and product managers
- Ensure that overarching, business-critical goals are achieved
- Analyse and evaluate project requirements and stakeholders
- Identify and realize potential for optimization and consolidation of the applications and systems introduced
- Take on the challenge of finding and implementing solutions for combined business and technical problems
Requirements:
- Master's or diploma degree in a relevant field (e.g. business computer science, business administration)
- Relevant experience in handling complex IT projects
- Familiarity with the classic SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, HR, BI) and the SAP authorization system
- Experience in the SAP S/4 HANA environment
- Strong business acumen and ability to develop customized solutions
- Good command of written and spoken English
