Senior Director Nature Based Solutions Lead

To support our mission to proactively promote climate protection, we are seeking a Senior Director Nature Based Solutions Lead to join our dynamic team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of approximately 25 professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and driving results.
- Oversee the annual division budget and ensure timely deadline management.
- Contribute to business strategy development, focusing on delivering high-quality consulting services and products.
- Grow new service lines and develop innovative methodologies in Natural Climate Solutions.
- Provide strategic support for structuring the project pipeline and meeting client demand for carbon credits.
- Offer technical feedback on project proposals and drive new joint ventures in Africa, South East Asia, and Latin America.
- Represent FORLIANCE in various forums and corporate events.
- Gather market intelligence on trends, regulations, and policies.
- Manage short-, mid-, and long-term Carbon Inventory and develop a portfolio of carbon forestry projects.
Your Ideal Profile
- University degree in economics, resource management, forestry, agriculture, or a related field.
- Background in the investment world.
- At least 10 years of experience in managing international teams.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in sustainable land use and carbon markets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an international team.
- Experience in preparing business and financial plans for natural carbon projects or similar.
- Fluency in English; fluency in Spanish or French is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel.
- Professional experience in Latin America, Africa, or South-East Asia is an advantage.
