Job Overview

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager responsible for driving sales growth in Germany, working closely with our distributors and key customers to achieve our sales objectives.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is changing the wine industry, with a focus on customer experiences and business development.

The successful candidate will have a strong commercial talent, energy, and ambition, with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the German market.

Responsibilities

As an Area Sales Manager, you will:

  • Manage sales activities within assigned territories, collaborating with distributors and key customers to execute our sales strategy.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key accounts, providing pricing, programming, and personal support to drive business growth.
  • Conduct business meetings, retailer, and staff trainings to create ambassadors for our brands.
  • Motivate and manage distributor salesforces and executives through leadership, inspirational confidence, and respect as our company spokesman.

You will work closely with our teams to implement, monitor, and evaluate program execution, while identifying opportunities and achieving brand standards.

The ideal candidate will be a winner mentality person, finding energy in success, with flexibility, friendly personality, mastery of both French and German culture, and knowledge of the FMCG trade, preferably in the beverage/wine industry.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Commercial talent, energy, and ambition.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of the German market.
  • Familiarity with the FMCG trade, preferably in the beverage/wine industry.
  • Flexibility, including willingness to travel.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a performance-based bonus scheme, freedom in daily work, credits for successes big and small, and a dynamic work environment with room for self-development.
