Job Title: Sales Manager IBN for South-East Germany and Austria

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager IBN for South-East Germany and Austria to join our Corning sales team in Germany. As a Sales Manager IBN, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and margin for all assigned Corning Optical Communications' products to the Enterprise Network market in the allocated region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize sales and margin for all assigned Corning Optical Communications' products to the Enterprise Network market in the allocated region.
  • Generate leads and identify new opportunities, positioning and specifying Corning's solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with end users, distribution channels, and installers.
  • Develop and implement territory plan and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.
  • Ensure that all Corning Optical Communications' business processes are followed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (technical) or equivalent.
  • 3 or more years of sales experience preferably in the same industry, with proven success rate at levels above sales quota.
  • Strong technical/product/industry knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
  • High flexibility and willingness for 3 to 4 days of business travel per week.
