About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Insights Leader to join our team at Merz Therapeutics. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Global Competitive & Strategic Insights team and driving the development of innovative methodologies and approaches to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Competitive & Strategic Insights Team: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and Execute CI Plans: Drive and execute the CI plan to support research and clinical insights across our asset portfolio, ensuring robust methodology and timely execution.
  • Generate Insights and Develop Strategic Partnerships: Develop CI and generate insights across key therapeutic areas, including Neurology, and create strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Advise Senior Management: Provide expert advice to senior management on CI topics and implications for Merz Therapeutics.
  • Lead Innovation and Efficiency Initiatives: Bring innovative methodologies and approaches into the organization to enable process efficiency, ease of access, and content management.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree in Business or Life Sciences: Bachelor's degree in business or life sciences is required; advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven Experience in CI or Market Research: Strong background in Pharma/Biotech with profound experience in CI or market research in Pharma/Biotech pipeline assets.
  • Leadership and Analytical Skills: Superior analytical skills are required with an understanding of a broad range of CI & market research methodologies.
  • Executive Presence and Communication Skills: Executive presence with strong oral, facilitating, and written communication skills; ability to distil complex information synthesized into concise and impactful messages and communications.
