**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Competitive Insights team at Merz Therapeutics. As our Head of Competitive Insights, you will be responsible for driving the development of innovative methodologies and approaches to support our Global Product Teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Competitive Intelligence (CI) plan to support research and clinical insights across our asset portfolio.
  • Lead a team of experts to generate actionable insights from diverse perspectives, including patients, healthcare professionals, payors, competitors, and the competitive intelligence landscape.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the Global Competitive Insights team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Drive strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Digital, R&D leadership, Global Medical Affairs, Development, and Corporate Development.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, including trends, threats, and opportunities.
  • Apply scientific proficiency to inform and align with clinical and discovery scientists, evaluating early development targets, trends, and assets.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or life sciences is required; Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strong background in Pharma/Biotech with profound experience in CI or market research in Pharma/Biotech pipeline assets.
  • Experience in Neurology is a plus.
  • Superior analytical skills are required with an understanding of a broad range of CI & market research methodologies.
  • Experience in multiple regions (required) and US (preferred).
  • Proficiency with global and regional CI vendors necessary to assess clinical status and end-to-end overall strategy of competitive assets required.
  • Executive presence with strong oral, facilitating, and written communication skills; ability to distill complex information synthesized into concise and impactful messages and communications.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization; Stakeholder management and executive presence.
