About the Role

Festo Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to support the sales efforts, processes, and growth of various distribution partners and sales channels within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a local strategy for sustainable revenue growth amongst the sales channels in the region
  • Support distributors' daily business and yearly revenue growth through identification and development of new customers, sales calls, product presentations, and training
  • Manage activities and grow overall business in the assigned region, including performance analysis, sales lead distribution, and record-keeping
  • Engage with and support Festo sales personnel as a Fabco Product Expert
  • Assist the National Sales Manager with marketing activities

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and virtual meeting platforms
  • 2+ years of related industrial pneumatic and/or distributor sales experience
  • OEM/MRO sales experience desirable

Work Environment

The Business Development Specialist will work remotely, interfacing with Fabco, customers, and distributors via phone and web conferencing tools. Approximately 60% of travel is required for this position, including overnight stays and meetings with customers and sales associates.

Physical Demands

The position requires the ability to lift 70 pounds at times and normally lift 25-30 pounds. The Business Development Specialist must be able to drive, sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
