General Manager for the German Market (m/f/d)

About the Position:

In the role of General Manager for the German Market (m/f/d), you will collaborate closely with the Country Head to enhance our dominant presence in Germany by cultivating a culture of teamwork and trust, setting clear objectives, and aligning on necessary decisions and actions. Our aim is to empower individuals to lead their healthiest lives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will oversee the daily operations of the German (Own Stock) Business, striving to meet Annual Operating Planning and P&L objectives. You will also take the lead on various initiatives and projects, steering them towards (commercial) success.
  • You will diligently track and assess relevant KPIs, creating standard reports in collaboration with Data Science and BI to drive enhancements across departments. Additionally, you will manage margin oversight, implement pricing strategies, and develop new KPIs for market analysis.
  • You will direct the quarterly forecasting process for Germany, crafting yearly and long-term plans in close partnership with Controlling and the Country Head.
  • You will work in close coordination with teams such as Marketing, Category Management, and Pricing on initiatives and campaigns to drive sales growth, ensuring effective budget utilization and monitoring quality metrics like CLV through an evolving customer data model. You will also keep a close eye on our NPS, with the goal of enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
  • You will cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the business, identifying new opportunities, particularly related to our Rx (prescriptive medication) and proprietary brand segments.

Your Profile:

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, and possess substantial practical experience in a comparable role within country or business management in the commercial sector.
  • You are driven, with a robust strategic mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and exceptional analytical capabilities. You also demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, effectively engaging at various levels and with cross-functional teams.
  • You flourish in a dynamic environment and are skilled at juggling multiple priorities and deadlines with a methodical and solution-oriented approach.
  • You are fluent in both English and German, and are prepared to visit our Cologne office several days a week.
