Accounting Workflow Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sales Engineer at FloQast, you will play a crucial role in empowering our direct sales team by acting as a liaison to address accounting-specific questions, scenarios, or other elements during the sales cycle. This will involve leveraging your operational and technical industry or public accounting background to maximize revenue and drive rep development within our growing London-based sales team.

What You'll Do:
  • Participate in remote and on-site demonstration meetings with sales reps to address technical and operational accounting questions.
  • Conduct in-depth value-based product demonstrations to prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop collateral and participate in webinars, trade-shows, and industry events to promote our product.
  • Elevate the sales team's accounting knowledge to better understand and cater to prospect needs.
  • Continuously strategize with direct sales team members on positioning, objection handling, and next steps.
  • Lead internal training sessions to enhance accounting knowledge and leverage statistical analysis to identify areas of improvement.
  • Coordinate with product, support, and setup teams to understand and provide feedback for roadmap developments.
  • Collaborate with the partnership and consulting teams to run demonstrations for PE and accounting firms.
  • Assist the customer success team by joining calls with current clients to address accounting-related questions.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the competitive landscape to act as a subject matter expert to direct sales and partnership teams.

What You'll Bring:
  • High-level written and verbal English and German language skills with the ability to work across various communication methods.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of industry accounting experience with consistent involvement in the month-end close process.
  • Knowledge of the broad financial compliance landscape and how it functions in an organization.
  • Prior user experience of either FloQast or other month-end close software is a plus.
  • Strongly preferred accounting systems implementation and/or user experience.
  • Collaborative team player with a high level of initiative and follow-through.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and respond to rapidly changing demands.
