We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Director to lead a team of Strategic Account Executives in Germany, focusing on the Chemicals and Logistics industry.

As a key member of our EMEA sales team, you will be responsible for recruiting, growing, and motivating your team, implementing sales plans, developing new business, and expanding existing business in a consumption and commitment model.

This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team within Databricks' world-class sales organization.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Lead a team of Strategic Account Executives, providing guidance and coaching to help them develop the skills and behaviors needed to succeed.
  • BUILD trust-based relationships with customers to drive long-term success in the region.
  • Communicate the value proposition effectively through proposals and presentations, representing Databricks as the front-line voice.
  • Gain a deep understanding of category-specific landscapes and trends, identifying forces that influence tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • Develop company-wide sales growth plans and investment capacity requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, implement, and manage a complete revenue process.
  • Maintain expertise in technical product details and roadmap to engage C-suite buyers, developers, and data scientists.

What We Look For:

  • A proven track record of success as a high-growth enterprise software sales leader.
  • The ability to attract and hire top sales talent.
  • A clear focus on methodology-based sales coaching, including MEDDPIC, Command of the Message, and Challenger Sales.
  • Expert knowledge of value-based sales with business and IT stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Experience in leadership roles focused on developing and managing new sales organizations to influence, develop, and achieve objectives within Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS sales.
  • The ability to articulate and evangelize the value proposition, aligning it with customer outcomes.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.

Estimated Salary: €120,000 - €180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
