About the Role

TalenTailors is seeking a skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a System Administrator. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure its smooth operation and high availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Maintenance and Monitoring: Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure system integrity and security. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address potential problems. Implement and maintain system backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Server Management: Administer and maintain servers for optimal performance and security, including physical and virtual servers. Troubleshoot server issues and implement necessary solutions.
  • User Support and Training: Provide technical support to end-users, including software installation, configuration, and issue resolution. Train employees on best practices for using company systems and tools.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols, including user access controls and firewall configurations. Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches promptly. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate regular reports on system performance and incidents for management review.
  • Collaboration and Project Support: Collaborate with IT team members on various projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and technology integrations. Assist in evaluating and recommending new technologies and solutions to enhance system performance.
Requirements
  • System Maintenance and Monitoring: Experience with updates, patches, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Server Management: Proven experience in administering and troubleshooting both physical and virtual servers.
  • User Support and Training: Strong background in technical support and issue resolution.
  • Security and Compliance: Knowledge of implementing and maintaining security protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ability to maintain detailed documentation and generate regular reports.
  • Collaboration and Project Support: Proven ability to collaborate on projects and evaluate new technologies.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in German and English at C1 level.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Visio. Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies. Familiarity with cloud platforms is preferred. Experience with cybersecurity practices and tools.
