Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at G MASS. This is a 6-month contract role working on a hybrid basis, providing key business management services to our clients in the Investment Management sector.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert, building the bridge between our business and clients, immersing themselves in the market to understand problems and find innovative solutions.

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be involved in the full software lifecycle, with a central role in liaising with people and teams as you deliver on a system implementation project:

  • Capturing, analyzing, and documenting clear business requirements
  • Documenting requirements and writing specifications
  • Documenting current business processes and use cases and verifying with the client
  • Developing and innovating current processes to meet future operational scenarios
  • Presenting specifications to the software development team
  • Overseeing the development of functionality from a client perspective
  • Testing and overseeing the testing of functionality of software against the original requirements and specifications
  • Assisting clients with business improvements
  • Training clients and staff in system functionality
  • Undertaking presentations and demonstrations of software
  • Building relationships with assigned clients at all levels
  • Being the primary point of contact for those clients that have been assigned to you
  • Fully understanding and communicating any issues or challenges that assigned clients are having with software and service provision

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis
  • Consulting experience ideally supporting Investment Management and/or financial services clients
  • Excellent client relationship skills with a record of developing strong partnerships
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Skilled at identifying problems and finding effective solutions
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and processes, analyze results, and provide insights
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, and BI tools
  • Documentation Skills: Capable of creating clear and concise documentation for processes, requirements, and reports

Benefits:

€500 per day - initial 6-month contract with expectation to be made permanent
