About the Role

Rivada Space Networks GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of our satellite network program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet program requirements
  • Lead RFI/RFP campaigns and evaluate supplier proposals
  • Liaise with legal teams to establish contractual agreements
  • Oversee and coordinate all stages of procurements, ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices
  • Supervise the performance of industrial contracts, including cost and schedule adherence
  • Deal with administrative, contractual, and industrial issues arising from technical problems
  • Evaluate commercial implications and escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Prepare and support change management
  • Report on payments status and collaborate with project teams
Requirements
  • University degree in a related field (e.g. Electrical, Software, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering)
  • At least 8+ years of experience in procurement or development of space-based operational systems, with 5+ years in a key managerial or system level position
  • Expert experience in procurement or management of subsystems or complex services, and negotiation and technical management of contracts
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with experience working in a multi-lingual and international environment
  • Fluency in English, with other languages (particularly German) considered an asset

Rivada Space Networks GmbH is a leading provider of satellite-based connectivity solutions. We are deploying a global low-latency point-to-point connectivity network of LEO satellites, providing secure, global, end-to-end enterprise-grade connectivity for Telecom, Enterprise, Maritime, Energy, and Government Services markets.

We are working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites, with deployment starting in 2025 and full-service launch in 2026.
