About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Management Specialist for Life Sciences in Bavaria and Austria. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing reference customers, finding and attracting new accounts, mentoring European team members, and supporting regional management projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in German and good English, as well as experience in managing customers in Salesforce.com.

Salary: €55,000 - €75,000 per year (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate Territory & Account Plans while working with a high level of independency
  • Develop, update, expand, and maintain to a high degree of accuracy and integrity, the prospect database (SalesForce.com) and existing customer list and monitor sales growth
  • Monitor competitor's activities, products, and potential new or improved applications or product extensions and the market evolution
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or higher
  • Experience: Proound sales experience in instrument and software sales, experience in managing customers in Salesforce.com
  • Language skills: Excellent communication skills in German and good English
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 70% with overnight within territory
