Job Summary:

As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion for Altair Engineering's High-Performance Computing and Cloud Solutions products and services. Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Computing Sales - EMEA, you will be tasked with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through existing and prospect accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing new business and managing existing customer relationships.
  • Expand business with existing customers by defining strategic account plans and actively listening to their needs.
  • Negotiate and close long-term agreements with enterprise accounts.
  • Provide high-level information about Altair's Cloud and High-Performance Computing suite of technology and products to optimize sales success.
  • Analyze and respond to requests for proposal, driving both commercial and technical responses to provide high-quality responses.
  • Initiate and lead customer executive meetings to promote Altair's vision and commitment to customer success.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues, business development representatives, pre-sales, and marketing to ensure team synergy.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with HPC and Cloud eco-partners.
  • Propose and implement strategies to improve lead generation and qualification.
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Active participation in marketing events, showcasing Altair's products and solutions.
  • Carry out competitive intelligence on the sector.

Requirements:

  • Experience in implementing sales strategies, sales processes, and methodologies.
  • Strong hunter mentality, closing, and winning large customers.
  • 5+ years of software solutions sales experience selling to enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with marketing, pre-sales, and business development representatives.
  • Prior experience working with HPC and Cloud eco-partners.
  • Must be able to travel locally and internationally.
  • Fluent English and local language.

Preferred:

  • Degree in IT, Engineering, or other technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in selling IT/HPC/Cloud/EDA/Semiconductor software solutions with proven success in developing strong pipeline.
  • Understanding of CRM systems (SalesForce) and best practices.
