About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales Strategy & Operations to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch) - H13. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the exciting space of cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Sales Operations: Develop key sales support systems and processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve revenue attainment and market segment development objectives.
  • Partner with Leadership: Partner closely with the Managing Director to set ambitious yet achievable goals for the sales organization, then put a framework in place to report, analyze and measure progress against them.
  • Drive Strategic Programs: Develop relationships and work with sales, partner, sales operations, and other stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to drive strategic programs across both areas.
  • Lead Planning and Operations: Lead the local planning process and run the operational cadence of activities, such as Quarterly and Monthly business reviews, 2x2s, Segmentation, Territory/Account Planning, Operational Planning 1-2 and Offsite strategy workshops.
  • Shape Sales Strategy: Shape the strategy to align each plan with the core mission, providing executive sponsorship to program-manage the end-to-end delivery of the initiatives, in coordination with Partner, Marketing, Finance, SAs and Sales teams.
  • Support Sales Systems: Support the evolution, integration, and implementation of sales systems and processes to meet the rapid growth of the business and its revenue attainment and market segment development objectives.
  • Provide Insights: Provide insights via external market segment research and deep dive including the in-country macro-economic issues and opportunities. Evaluate and research various data sets to provide deep insights and recommendations; prepare ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Lead Compensation and Quota Planning: Lead compensation, quota planning, headcount, new market segments planning and executing related initiatives.
  • Manage Forecast Models: Manage the development of continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, owning the quantitative analysis of the performance of our sales team, to improve Sales Excellence and productivity.
