Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced B2B SaaS sales leader to join our team as a Head of Software Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading our software sales team, acquiring new business accounts, and growing existing ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop your team to actively and independently acquire and identify new opportunities for the sales pipeline.
- Sales Enablement: Implement common qualification frameworks such as MEDDICC, Sandler, or SPIN to coach your team and prepare them for complex negotiation situations.
- Hiring and Interviewing: Participate in the hiring process for new account executives and conduct interviews with new candidates.
- Product Expertise: Become an expert in our software products and promote them in your sales network.
- Scaling and Strategy: Be responsible for scaling your sales areas, strategic planning, and implementation, and share your findings in weekly forecast meetings with management and your team.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Management Experience: 2+ years of experience as a manager and knowledge of different ways to motivate a team.
- Customer Acquisition: Ability to acquire customers and lead them successfully through complex sales processes.
- Software Expertise: Experience with complex software or platform solutions and the ability to effectively argue for our SaaS solution in sales talks.
- Language Skills: Fluent German and English.
- Industry Knowledge: Ideally, familiarity with well-known accounts from the automotive, aerospace & defense, heavy equipment, or machinery sectors.
