Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Director/Managing Director for our European headquarters in Munich. This role will be pivotal in driving market expansion and business development across the EU. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a robust sales team, engaging with new clients, and nurturing existing relationships with customers and distributors.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and operational plan for the EU, ensuring the achievement of business objectives and sales targets.
• Strengthen relationships with current customers, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and manage distributors across Europe.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor local and regional sales and FAE teams, fostering talent and building cohesive teams.
• Organize annual activities, including planning participation in trade shows and exhibitions.
• Provide insights on EU market trends and needs to guide product development initiatives.
Qualifications• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor sales, with established relationships with key customers.
• In-depth knowledge of the semiconductor industry landscape and EU market dynamics, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives.
• Familiarity with target markets such as telecommunications, industrial sectors, and automotive; experience in distributor management is essential.
• Proven ability to drive semiconductor sales processes and technology adoption, facilitating effective conversions and expediting design cycles.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading successful sales and FAE teams.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a proactive approach and enthusiasm for the role.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Proficiency in German and English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is advantageous.
