Sales Development Manager Role

The Sales Development Manager is a key role within the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty team, responsible for driving retail sales growth and performance across a defined area. This role requires strong commercial leadership skills, with the ability to support Field Sales Managers in achieving sales targets and improving key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Field Sales Managers in driving total retail sales across defined areas, delivering sales performance and driving ongoing KPI improvement.
  • Generate store-level forecasts and targets, and performance initiatives, including recommendations on incentives to motivate and inspire store teams.
  • Lead and manage teams of Business Managers, ensuring clear objectives and sales plans are in place.
  • Build relationships with retailers, establishing credibility and relationship currency.
  • Drive recruitment across stores and wider regions, and lead initiatives to address engagement needs.
  • Identify opportunities to drive brand awareness, performance, and market share.
  • Work closely with store management and Field Sales Managers to drive social content, unlock event opportunities, and accelerate skincare's market takeover.
  • Ensure flawless visual merchandising and grooming standards are maintained.
  • Work closely with Retail Operations and other support functions to ensure effective communication and timely solutions.
  • Influence and roll out ground-breaking eventing strategies.

Education Responsibilities
  • Identify training and development needs, and work with the Training Team to develop a master plan.
  • Support Field Sales Managers in delivering online and on-site trainings for Charlotte Tilbury's and Cast Teams.

Effective Cost Optimisation
  • Responsible for retail staffing costs and recommending FTE levels across stores.
  • Responsible for in-store payroll budget, ensuring alignment to cost budget.
  • Timely review and approval of commission submissions.
  • Ensure T&E expenditure is in line with forecast.
