German Business Development Representative

This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven German-speaking sales professional to join Spendesk's Sales team as a Business Development Representative (BDR).

About the Role

We are seeking a charismatic and ambitious individual who can effectively communicate with C-Level Finance staff in Germany, driving business growth and exceeding targets.

As a BDR, you will be responsible for creating initial points of contact with prospective clients through outbound prospecting campaigns, qualifying leads, and collaborating with Account Executives to secure new customers.

You will work solely on an outbound strategy, using your exceptional communication skills to generate qualified leads and monitor your performance using activity metrics from our CRM.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prospecting: Conducting outbound prospecting campaigns via cold-calls, emails, video-mails, social selling, and events to establish a first point of contact with prospects and schedule appointments.
  2. Qualification: Qualifying and understanding the needs of prospects to direct them towards the Spendesk solution if it is suitable.
  3. Collaboration: Transferring prospect information to Account Executives for follow-up and new customer acquisition.
  4. CRM Management: Monitoring performance using activity metrics from our CRM (Salesforce, Salesloft).
  5. Feedback: Providing daily feedback to help the Sales team improve and grow.
Requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with C-Level Finance staff.
  • Ambitious, tenacious, and driven to exceed targets.
  • Experience in sales, preferably as an SDR/BDR.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Team player with a willingness to take risks and collaborate with others.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €45,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
