Be Part of Our Strategy Team

As a Strategy & Expansion Intern at Westwing Home & Living, you will play a key role in supporting and shaping the company's strategic priorities. You will take on analytical and operational tasks, gaining valuable experience in the Strategy & Expansion team, which reports directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on strategic and highly relevant topics, such as expansion planning & execution, positioning, and operational improvement.
  • Identify and own information sources, gather and interpret data, and execute analyses to translate into meaningful insights for the Strategy Department.
  • Conduct in-depth research on topics related to Westwing's strategic priorities, such as market trends, competitor analyses, or industry best practices.
  • Collect and analyze data to help the department make informed decisions, which may involve working with large data sets, creating spreadsheets or charts, and identifying trends or patterns.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and provide administrative assistance as needed.
  • Support ongoing strategic projects and strategy processes by creating high-quality presentations for senior management.

Requirements:

  • Studies in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a comparable course of study.
  • Initial practical experience in relevant areas such as Strategy Consulting or Business Development.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strength in prioritization.
  • Independent, responsible, and structured approach to work, with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Friendly, communicative, discrete, and motivated personality.
  • Very strong MS Office skills - particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and spoken language skills in both German and English.
