Head of Marketing Strategy

We are in search of a forward-thinking and strategic Head of Marketing Strategy to join the marketing team at Project A Ventures, driving the growth of our portfolio companies and external partners.
In your daily role, you will focus on overseeing all marketing operations, developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives, and ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
Our marketing team is composed of a group of curious, data-driven professionals dedicated to assisting our portfolio companies in expanding their user base. The team encompasses all areas of Programmatic Paid Media, Customer Engagement Strategies, Demand Generation, Marketing Automation & MarTech, as well as Marketing Operations.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for our portfolio and external partners to drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Identify and leverage emerging marketing trends and technologies, including AI, to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
- Provide expert marketing consultancy to our portfolio companies by tailoring strategies to their unique business needs and market environments.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, and ongoing support to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives.
- Guide and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
- Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports to the leadership team, highlighting successes and areas for growth.
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in advising and managing marketing strategies for multiple companies or clients.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand development, and performance marketing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets, marketing operations, and driving growth.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Comfortable taking initiative to get things done.
Please note that we are seeking support in our Berlin office. Eligibility to work within the EU is also required.
