Expert IT Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Solution Architect to join our team at Exyte Central Europe GmbH. As an IT Solution Architect, you will play a key role in leading and supporting enterprise architecture activities focused on the development and management of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure solutions.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in IT solution architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing complex, enterprise-grade network solutions and lifecycle management. You will be responsible for creating and designing network solutions, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), SD-WAN, cloud networking, and load balancing.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and contribute to solution architecture initiatives, ensuring that network services align with overarching business goals and objectives.
- Create and design network solutions, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, firewalls, VPNs, ZTNA, SASE, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and load balancing.
- Continuously analyze and design the target network architecture landscape, considering business goals, strategies, and processes, as well as the business applications and technology landscape.
- Develop a detailed roadmap for the evolution of the network enterprise solution portfolio, aligning with solution architecture guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, and translate them into strategic network solutions that support business capabilities and value streams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Network Architect, with a focus on designing and implementing complex, enterprise-grade network solutions and lifecycle management.
- Good knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and architectures, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, firewalls, and cloud networking.
- Microsoft Azure certification or formal training and proven cloud network experience is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English and German language skills preferred.
