About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Designer Color to join our team at Adidas. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating industry-leading color executions for our footwear and apparel products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of color trends, consumer behavior, and brand positioning to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and development, to ensure cohesive and effective product execution.
- Design and develop color palettes, materials, and graphics for seasonal and long-term product ranges.
- Provide trend forecasting content and direction to support design decisions.
- Work closely with the material team to develop materials that meet category needs and commercial opportunities.
- Support the senior team lead in building content for collaborative stakeholders among marketing, product managers, designers, and key account and inline teams.
Requirements:
- Four-year college or university degree in industrial, graphics, apparel, or footwear design.
- Practical experience in footwear design, fashion design, or any design-related environment.
- Thorough knowledge of art and design with a clear understanding of visual design or any design-related environment.
- Three years of relevant work experience.
