Design Assistant – Color and Graphics Specialist

Objective:
- Develop compelling design concepts for various assets and events through effective color and graphic narratives.
- Ensure accurate product development for the Sports Marketing Service Unit by preparing color sketches, graphic designs, and comprehensive design packs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Adapt designs of the international inline range while adhering to brand standards and technical feasibility to satisfy both internal and external client requirements.
- Craft color narratives for SMSU collections in alignment with global design direction and specific customer needs.
- Design custom graphics and enhance inline graphics based on SMSU specifications.
- Oversee specific sports categories concerning project planning and execution.
- Prepare design documentation and other handover materials according to SMSU guidelines, ensuring technical precision.
- Facilitate an efficient workflow and communication between design, marketing, and development teams regarding all aspects of the ranges.
- Collaborate with inline design, marketing, and development teams on color, graphics, and placement ideas, considering customer needs, technical feasibility, and brand goals.
- Execute design tasks in accordance with the visual language of the brand and established corporate identity guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient understanding of fashion design and visual concepts, with a keen eye for color, combinations, applications, and trends.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary sports products across various categories.
- Adept at presenting information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings to clients and colleagues.
- High degree of creativity and passion for design.
- Proficient in design software on Macintosh platforms (Illustrator, Photoshop, Clo).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Required Education and Experience:
- Degree in Design or Trend-related fields, preferably in fashion or graphic design.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a customer-focused design environment, gained through internships, work experiences, or freelance projects.
