Assistant Designer Apparel

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Assistant Designer Apparel to join our team at Adidas. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating convincing design concepts for our SMSU assets and events through color and graphic stories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop design concepts that meet internal and external customer needs, adhering to adidas standards and technical feasibility.
- Create color stories for SMSU ranges in accordance with global adidas design direction and customer-specific needs.
- Design customer-specific graphic elements and develop inline graphics further to meet SMSU needs.
- Manage own sports categories in regards to project planning and execution.
- Prepare design packs and other handover documents according to SMSU specifications, ensuring technical accuracy.
- Support an efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing, and development for all issues regarding the ranges.
- Collaborate with inline design, marketing, and development teams regarding color, graphics, and placement ideas based on customer needs, technical feasibility, and brand objectives.
- Execute design work according to the visual language of adidas as well as given corporate identity guidelines.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of fashion design and design with a clear understanding of visual design concepts and an extraordinary sense for color, color combination, their application, and color trends.
- Independent and self-responsible worker who pays high attention to detail and is able to multitask.
- Good overview of today's sports products from all areas.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- High level of creativity.
- Passion for design.
- Knowledge and use of Macintosh computer design software/systems (Illustrator, Photoshop, Clo).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Education and Experience:
- Qualified to degree level in Design/Trend-related studies, preferably in the area of fashion or graphic design.
- At least two years of relevant work experience with work experience in a customer-oriented design environment (through internships, work experiences, or freelancing).
