Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Director to lead our operations at Crypto Finance Group. As a pivotal member of our executive team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization.

About Crypto Finance Group:

Crypto Finance Group is a dynamic and rapidly expanding enterprise, consisting of two FINMA-regulated financial institutions and a proud member of Deutsche Börse Group. We specialize in providing comprehensive digital asset solutions, including a FINMA-approved securities firm offering 24/7 brokerage services, custody, infrastructure, and tokenization solutions tailored for financial institutions. Our innovative approach also includes the management of collective assets for crypto assets, featuring a rules-based and index-based alternative investment fund, including Switzerland's first crypto fund. Our headquarters are located in Switzerland.

Role Responsibilities:

  • As one of the three Managing Directors, you will oversee the IT strategy and operational management of our German business activities, emphasizing information technology.
  • You will lead the ambitious growth of the subsidiary while contributing to the overall development of the company.
  • Post-license approval from BaFin, you will establish an efficient and audit-compliant management process for the organization.
  • You will ensure seamless operations and monitor all internal and external activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in the financial services sector, ideally within a BaFin-regulated bank or financial infrastructure company, either as a Managing Director or Deputy with a strong IT background.
  • A demonstrated history of successfully guiding companies through the build-up and implementation phases, with a solid understanding of necessary IT processes and operational workflows.
  • Experience managing complex IT projects in the regulated financial sector, along with a robust network of industry contacts.
  • A leadership style that is authentic and motivating, characterized by transparent and direct communication, entrepreneurial values, and a collaborative spirit.
  • A genuine interest in crypto assets and/or blockchain technology.
  • A strong team player with a winning attitude, excellent negotiation skills, and high self-motivation.
  • A commitment to excellence, driven by the motto of "getting things done."
  • Fluency in German at a native level and proficiency in English.
