Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Director to lead our operations at Crypto Finance Group. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our organization as we expand our footprint in the digital asset market.

About Crypto Finance Group:

Crypto Finance Group is a prominent player in the digital finance sector, consisting of two FINMA-regulated entities and part of the Deutsche Börse Group. We provide comprehensive digital asset solutions, including a FINMA-approved securities firm offering 24/7 brokerage services, custody, infrastructure, and tokenization solutions tailored for financial institutions. Our innovative approach includes the first Swiss crypto fund and a manager of collective assets for crypto assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the IT strategy and operational management of our German business activities, focusing on technological advancements.
  • Drive and facilitate the ambitious growth of the subsidiary while contributing to the overall development of the organization.
  • Post-license approval, establish an efficient and audit-compliant management process.
  • Ensure seamless operations while monitoring all internal and external activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in the financial services sector, particularly within a BaFin-regulated environment, either as a Managing Director or deputy with a strong IT background.
  • Demonstrated success in guiding organizations through the build-up and implementation phases, with a solid understanding of IT processes.
  • Experience managing complex IT projects in regulated financial environments, along with a robust network of industry contacts.
  • Authentic and motivating leadership style, with transparent communication and a strong sense of entrepreneurial values.
  • Interest and knowledge in crypto assets and blockchain technology.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative team spirit, exhibit a winning attitude, and possess excellent negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in German and English, with a passion for excellence and a results-oriented mindset.
