Sales Engineer for Automation Solutions (m/f/d)

Actief Personalmanagement GmbH is seeking a dedicated Sales Engineer specializing in the field of tool and workpiece automation.

Your Responsibilities:

Order Acquisition:

  • Identifying and generating customer needs with a focus on automation
  • Presenting the company and its products to clients
  • Assessing inquiries for feasibility
  • Proposing strategic approaches to secure orders
  • Reviewing and evaluating cost calculations
  • Creating calculations while considering specific partner commissions

Project Management (up to the purchasing decision):

  • Conducting meetings to initiate inquiries
  • Developing inquiry structure plans using project management software
  • Monitoring the progress of all participants in the overall project and initiating corrective actions as needed

Order Processing:

  • Conducting kick-off events after order confirmation
  • Reviewing contracts

Evaluating Post-Calculations and Initiating Actions:

  • Handling additional tasks in the inquiry process
  • Coordinating content in the field of control technology
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of sales objectives
  • Preparing for and following up on customer visits
  • Building relationship management
  • Attending trade fairs to enhance brand awareness
Your Profile:
  • You possess a completed technical vocational training (technician/engineering degree) or a comparable qualification
  • You demonstrate organizational skills and a proactive, independent, team-oriented, and reliable work style
  • You have experience in mechanical engineering and knowledge of sales
  • You possess basic knowledge in the automation of machine tools
  • You have contacts/a network within the machining sector
  • You are familiar with project management software
  • You are proficient in MS Office applications
  • You have good English language skills, both written and spoken
